The User Experience Research Intern works closely with other User Experience Researchers and the Director of the Usability & Experience Design to complete a series of Usability assignments. These assignments may include the support of usability testing for a variety of projects by taking notes, running cameras, analyzing data. You will also help by providing general User Experience support for a variety of projects.
Primary Activity and Responsibility:
• Work closely with our Usability & Experience Design team to provide usability support on key projects to identify issues and opportunities • Support usability testing by helping with the test plan development, setting up the lab, running cameras, taking notes, analyzing data, creating video clips and writing reports • Create Human Factors guidelines by conducting literature reviews and summarizing requirements
• Ability to present in English • In the process of getting an advanced degree in Human Factors Engineering, Cognitive Psychology, Ergonomics/Anthropometrics or related field. • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills • Introductory understanding of Usability research • Experience with activities within the User Centered Design process • Demonstrated ability to work in team environments • Self-motivated and flexible; willing to learn new things
